Policy Applies to Move More Studio and More Mirrors Dance Company Participants
Liability Waiver: For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, I, as parent or legal guardian or participant, hereby grant the permission necessary to allow myself or Minor to participate in all Move More Studio LLC Classes/Programs. I, in my own behalf and on behalf of the Minor, further agree to release and hold harmless Move More Studio and their respective attorneys, officers, employees, directors, shareholders, administrators, agents, contractors, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, adversaries, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the Class (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Releasees”) from any and all liability for negligence or any other claim, judgment, loss, liability, cost and expenses (including, without limitation, attorney’s fees and costs) arising out of or connected with the Class, including any claim arising out of or connected with any illness or injury (minimal, serious, catastrophic and/or death) that the Minor may incur or sustain during the Class, including any claim arising out of or connected with any activities associated with the Class and while traveling to and from the site for the Class whether or not the Class actually occurs. I further expressly agree to indemnify and hold harmless Releasees and Releasees’ heirs, successors, assigns, executors and administrators against loss from any further claims, demands or actions that may subsequently be brought by Minor or by any other persons on the account of damages on any character resulting to Minor in any way from the foregoing activities. I further agree to reimburse and to make good to Releasees any loss or costs Releasees may have to pay as a result of any such action, claim, or demand. I, in my own behalf and on behalf of the Minor, hereby warrant that I have read this Liability Release in its entirety and fully understand its contents. I, in my own behalf and on behalf of the Minor, am aware that this Liability Release releases Releasees from liability and contains an acknowledgment of my voluntary and knowing assumption of the risk of injury or illness. I, in my own behalf and on behalf of the Minor, further acknowledge that nothing in this Liability Release constitutes a guarantee that the Class will occur. I, in my own behalf and on behalf of the Minor, have signed this document voluntarily and of my own free will.
Medical Release: I acknowledge and agree, in my own behalf and on behalf of the Minor, that such participation subjects myself/Minor to the possibility of physical illness or injury (minimal, serious, catastrophic and/or death) and that I, in my own behalf and on behalf of the myself/Minor, acknowledge that the myself/Minor is assuming the risk of such illness or injury by participating in the Class. In the event of a serious injury, I authorize Move More Studio to contact the parents/guardians and/or (911) medical authorities. I further acknowledge and understand that I will be responsible for any and all medical and related bills that may be incurred on behalf of myself/Minor for any illness or injury that the myself/Minor may sustain during the Class and while traveling to and from the site for the Class whether or not the Class actually occurs.
I represent that any medication to which myself/Minor is allergic or medications that myself/Minor is currently taking are listed below. I agree that myself/Minor shall bring medications which myself/Minor is currently taking with him/her to the Class and that he/she shall consume the prescribed dosage for such medications.
Registration/Tuition and Late fees: Registration fees: An annual non-refundable $25.00-$35.00 registration fee per student ($60.00/family) is automatically charged to all 2019-20 season registrations. Any applicable discounts will be deducted before processing your payment. This fee is only charged once in a calendar year and is good through our summer session. This fee is non-refundable. Tuition fees for the season will be automatically charged to the card on file from August 1 and go through June 1.
Tuition for classes is based on a monthly rate and not on the number of classes per month as this will vary month to month. Your child will be registered August through May (10 months). The dance season will consist of 10 months of classes with an avg. of (35-36) thirty-six weekly class sessions from August 12, 2019- May 15, 2020. All More Mirrors Dance company PARTICIPANTS are registered FEBRUARY-May/ September-December and required to follow the same tuition policy based on the length of their program.
Tuition rates start at $50.00/month for 30-45 minute classes (ineligible for additional classes), Pricing is based on school/center. This rate does not include processing fees or taxes. Monthly tuition is based on an average of 2 classes per month and is the same price for 4 months. Some months have as few as (2) two weeks others have as many as (5) five depending on our scheduled holiday, state/federal EMERGENCIES and other major county closings.
*Late Fees: Payments are due on the (1st) first of each month, auto-billing is required, monthly. Unless you pre-pay by the 28th of each month.
We gladly accept the following methods of payment:

Payments for tuition & other various items may be made online, at the office, or by mail.
When making a payment by cash or check, please include the dancer's first and last name/s in the memo of your check so we may credit the proper account. We can accept cash & check payments as long as they are paid prior to the due date or our system will automatically charge your credit card on file on the date due if there is a balance.
Returned check fee/INF is $25.00
You WILL NOT be receiving a statement from our office for your monthly tuition. You may check your account online at any time by logging into our parent portal.
Any account unpaid after the (15) fifteenth of the month, even those who auto-drafts come back declined, will have late charges assessed for $20.00 in addition to the total monthly tuition.
Move More Studio reserves the right to claim a student as ineligible for participation if he/she has an outstanding balance for more than 30 days.
If at any time you would like a printed statement of your account you may request one or login to the portal to view & print.
Overdue Balances Only: A statement will be mailed and/or email for the amount due with late charges assessed.
Any student with an overdue balance of more than 30 days will not be allowed into class until payment in full is received or payment arrangements have been made. Once your child has been dropped from the class, they will be required to re-register for the class and pay a new registration fee of $35.
We hate to see you go but we realize that everyone will eventually grow up and/or move on. As a courtesy to our studio/company, we require parents to give written notice either by email, mail or to the front desk by the 1st of the month if their child is going to discontinue classes at Move More Studio. This is so we can invite the next child on the waiting list to join the class the following month. Please Note: If the written notice is not given, you will be billed for the additional tuition that your child is enrolled in the class/classes. AGAIN, You must cancel/withdraw in writing BEFORE the 1st of the month or you are responsible to PAY for that month and any other month that passes until we receive written notice. We do not accept VERBAL withdrawals.
I understand Move More Studio LLC/More Mirrors Dance Company LLC does not issue refunds. I understand I am responsible for full payments regardless of the number of holidays, classes missed, or the number of weeks in each month. No pro-rating or refunds for absences. If my account is not current, my child (or I) will not be allowed to attend class until it is.
I understand that Move More Studio follows the same closings as the Cobb County School's District for Thanksgiving, Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Break. Move More Studio also follows the same closings for severe/inclement weather, state emergencies and national holidays. Classes cancelled due to severe/inclement weather, state emergencies or national holidays are not eligible for make-up classes. Make-up classes will be at the discretion of Move More Studio/More Mirrors Dance Company LLC based on the studio's/School/Center’s availability.
Automatic Billing: I understand that all tuition and fees must be paid by the 1st of every month and will require a $20 Late Fee after the 5th of every month. Move More Studio requires the authorization of our automatic billing payment plan for each season with the card on file. I understand that each season starts in August and ends in May and payments will be deducted each month during this time. Insufficient funds will require a $25 convenience fee in order for your dancer to remain eligible for dance classes, studio incentives and performances. I also understand that all tuition and fees must be paid in full before my dancer is considered eligible to participate in classes, studio activities/recitals, and incentives/awards.
Refund Policy
All payments made to Move More Studio LLC and/or More Mirrors LLC are final. We do not issue refunds. Camp Fees, Registration Fees & Recital Fees are non-refundable! Credits will not be given for missed classes due to illness, snow days, or personal commitments. If your dancer misses class due to illness or other personal reason, they will be able to make up in a similar class up to 3 allowed per dance season.

Cancellation Policy:
I understand and agree that Move More Studio reserves the right to cancel any or all classes. Should a class be cancelled, we will provide an acceptable replacement. Move More Studio reserves the right to cancel any camp or class with insufficient registration and a full refund will be given. When a student sustains an injury that does not permit them to participate over an extended period of time a credit or refund will be issued for that point forward with proof of injury or doctor's note.
Communication:
Throughout the year, there is a lot of information that is communicated to our families. We utilize many avenues to communicate information.

Year End Recital Policies:
We produce year-end recitals & showcases at the end of each season with all dancers participating. This is an exciting end to the dance season! The 2020 Recitals & Showcases' dates are held at the end of each season. Days & times are TBA. This is an exciting and rewarding part of the season that everyone looks forward to and we encourage all dancers to participate.
Recital Costume Fee: Costumes must be paid for in full by December 20th of each season. We divide the total over 3 months due October 20, November 20, and December 20th. Costume payments are non-refundable. If your costume fees are not paid for in full before we close for Christmas break, they will not be ordered. Any alterations needed will be the responsibility of the parent.
The 2019-20 Recital fees for all classes start at $65.00 and include a costume, accessories, a keepsake trophy or award.
Recital Tickets: All show tickets are purchased and go on sale on our website.
We have an annual recital which is performed across several shows inside a venue during the month of May. In order for students to participate in the recital, they must be enrolled in classes by January and stay enrolled in class every month up to the recital.
Additional notes regarding the recital:
-Students will only be allowed to miss three class starting January through the recital date.
-Recital Picture week is mandatory for all enrolled students and is scheduled in April and/or May.
Recital Pictures are not included in the recital/costume fee. Pictures will be available for purchase at the recital.
-Dress Rehearsals are mandatory and are scheduled for the week of the recital.
-All family and friends ages 1+ must purchase a ticket for the recital.
Recital fees and ticket purchases are non-refundable.
Placement in Classes
Move More Studio, LLC. and it’s instructors will place students in classes. We feel it is more important that the children are in the correct level of class, then making sure a student is with their exact age group. We ask that for your respect in regards to our expertise in placing students in classes. We desire to see every student grow and achieve the most within our classes. When a class is too challenging, they may not be able to grasp and learn proper technique. Likewise, when it is too easy, a student may not grow as a dancer.
Dropping a class
In order to avoid late fees and being charged for a class you wish to drop, you must visit the front desk during front desk hours to complete the drop process. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT VERBAL OR ELECTRONIC REQUESTS FOR DROPS!
If you do not drop the class in person prior to the 1st of any month, you will continued to be charged monthly tuition as you are ultimately paying for a spot in a class of instruction that otherwise could have been filled with another student.
If you owe any amount after dropping, the card on file will be automatically charged (whether it is on auto-pay or not). If you drop between the first and the sixth of a month (before tuition is due), you will only be charged for the classes that occurred during this time (you will still be charged even if your child did not attend since you are paying for the spot in the class).
If you drop between the first and the 6th of a month, you acknowledge that your card on file will automatically be charged the balance (the amount of classes that occurred during that time whether it is on auto-pay or not).
I understand
-the studio will communicate important information via e-mail, and it is my responsibility to read this information and ask any questions I might have. I understand it is not the responsibility of the studio, its owner, or teachers if I miss, or misunderstand said information.
-when the class calls for a dress code, Move More Studio reserves the right to not allow my child to participate in class if we have not followed the dress code enough times, with previous warning. This includes hair and attire.
-that only whispering is permitted in the lobby area during class time
-there is no leaning on the walls, desks, or space dividers
-that there is no smoking in or near the studio
-that no child is allowed to leave without a legal parent/guardian
-if my child refuses to obey rules, they will be asked to be dismissed from class or play area
-that Move More Studio does not allow bullying or misconduct
-students must respect themselves, peers and all staff members
Correction Policy: I agree with Move More Studio's Correction Policy. Our goal is to ensure that every student remains safe at all times during class, and to also learn the proper technique and alignment for every discipline of dance that we offer. Therefore, we must constantly correct their form and posture. We will correct our students as follows: with words first, if further correction is needed we will demonstrate with our own body, if more is needed we will re-position the body part in question, if more assistance is needed, we will align/move/position their bodies with our hands. We will always be mindful of touching appropriately, and always open to your comments, suggestions and questions should any concerns arise.
I further acknowledge and understand that Move More Studio LLC has established rules and regulations pertaining to conduct, behavior and activities during every Class, by which Minor and I agree to abide during the Class. The Minor and I will be responsible for her/his/my failure to abide by those rules and regulations. Minor and I understand that violation of the rules can result in dismissal from Class/session with no refund.
If enrolled in the session: I understand I am required to give a written notice 30 days in advance, if leaving Move More Studio LLC before the end of the session. If such notice is not given on time, automatic billing will continue when enrolled in the Month to Month option.
I understand that Move More Studio LLC reserves the right to terminate any student at any time due to any unresolved issues.
Season Calendar and Holiday Closings:
Move More Studio season begins Monday, August 12, 2019, and ends Saturday, May 16, 2020. Move More Studio follows the Cobb County School Systems closings for the following dates:
Labor Day Holiday, Saturday, Aug 31- Monday, Sept. 2
Fall Break, September 23-28
Thanksgiving Break, November 25-30
Christmas Break & New Years, December 23 - January 4
MLK Closed
Winter Break February 17th-21st
Spring Break, April 6-11
MLK Day serves as a studio Community Service 'Day of Service'. Details are provided weeks in advance.
Photo/Video Release Agreement:
I give permission for Move More Studio to take photos and or videos of Move More Studio classes, rehearsals and/or performances, including dancers of Move More Studio in costumes of me or my child while participating in Move More Studio activities for promotional purposes. Names of students will not be used or disclosed. I understand that I am giving permission to use these photos and/or videos for publishing use, in printed or electronic format. understand that Move More Studio LLC from time to time produces promotional material relating to its programs. I understand that as a participant in and/or a spectator at the Class, the Minor and/or I may be included in videotapes or photographs taken during the Class. Thereafter, without reservation or limitations, I, in my own behalf and behalf of the Minor, hereby assign, transfer and grant to Move More Studio LLC, its successors, assignees, licensees, sponsors, any television networks, and all other commercial exhibitors the exclusive right to photograph and/or videotape the I/Minor and to utilize such videotapes and photographs and Minor’s name, face, likeness, voice and appearance as part of the Class, in advertising and promoting the Class or in advertising and promoting similar future events for Move More Studio LLC. Media/Appearance release includes and is not limited to, printed materials such as brochures and newsletters, advertising, videos, and digital images such as those on The Move More Studio LLC's website, social media pages, etc. By signing this form, I understand that I am giving unrestricted permission for my child's image to be used in print, video, and digital media. I agree that these images may be used by Move More Studio LLC for a variety of purposes and that these images may be used without further notifying me. I further understand that neither Move More Studio, More Mirrors LLC nor any third party is under any obligation to exercise any of the foregoing rights, licenses and privileges.
